I have noticed that my headaches get better in the summer as well. My husband and I went to Australia over the Christmas holiday, and immediately, my headaches got better. As soon as I got back to the cold US, they started up worse than ever. I am wondering if it is really the warm weather though, or if it is the longer day. Yes! I hadn't heard of anyone else or met anyone else who had it, so when I found your blog, in an odd way, I felt comforted... I sympathize with you and everything you go through... they are terrible terrible things, and once I was prescribed the indocin, my headaches started getting better. I'm currently in a bad episode... I've had a headache 3 out of the past 4 days... and it's my finals week. Not so good. Good luck to you, my friend. I've been suffering god-awful headaches for 37 years and was diagnosed with cluster headaches when I was about 20 or so (I'm now 48). Yesterday saw another nuerologist who isn't convinced I have CH, but thinks I may have CPH although I show features of both Anyway, has put me on Indomethacin as a trial. Nothing in the past has ever worked, and I've tried the lot! I just want the pain to go away. When you get free days don't you just feel totally uplifted? WONDERFUL! The trick is to keep that feeling even when the darkeness threatens to descend, which is difficult I know. My heart goes out to you and all the others with this and other awful head pain.
